Don and I had a fantastic lunch at G’Manns Restaurant & Lounge yesterday. You have got to get over there, everything is homemade with a great twist to it. Gene and Willie Nelson the chef are so talented and the prices are so reasonable. They also have a great Lounge.

If you like entertainment this place will be your home away from home…whether it be harmonica night on Wednesdays to karaoke on Mondays and then the talents of the G’Mann himself with his brother on the weekends. (The G’mann sounds like Elvis…what a magnificent voice – a real talent) Here is what we indulged on at G’Manns. Now for the food.
The Brussel sprouts were amazing, we got them as an appetizer and wiped the dish clean
Don had the G'Manns corned Beef Brisket, it is really a reuben, one of the most delicious ones I have had! The sandwich is $10.00
I indulged in the Not you Momma's Chicken Pot Pie....Amazing...it has crispy fried chicken skin crumbles on the top and the chicken was succulent and so flavorful, I won't share the secret to this. You have got to try it for yourself. It was $11.00 and I made 2 meals out of it. It comes with a wedge salad or a caesar salad, I had the caesar.
The calamari is spectacular, it is the most tender strips from the calamari steak with fried spinach and a unique chutney instead of marinara. I am sold! This dish was $9.00
If you have room try one of their 20 gelatos and homemade pastries daily. I love this place!

This place was great and a LOT of fun. What a voice on the ‘man’ – you would swear it was Elvis of Frank singing some of these tunes.

Gene Mann is one of the kindest most generous men you will ever meet. He is a wonderful restaurateur and entertainer. He not only sings and plays music, you will think you are in a night club listening to a professional (is that Elvis, Ronnie Milsap,or Harry Connick Jr.?). No! It’s the GMann himself serenading you with his fabulous musical stylings of popular songs. Be sure to check out the food too of course. I hear it’s delicious and you can’t beat the reasonable prices and large portions. If you want GMann’s music so you can listen to him anytime at home, in the car or office, take home one of his CDs. His music will bring you unlimited hours of joy.
