This is a close- up of my lunch…Keep reading to find out what it is.

Don and I had a great lunch at Caldero – Flavors of Mexico 7111 E. Thomas Rd.
Scottsdale.

Ricardo, one of the owners, was so nice. He did all of the remodeling and it looks great!

But what about the food you ask?  We loved the fresh chips with the warm green avocado and cream cheese sauce and salsa to start the meal.  Then came the appetizer…

Tostada of Ceviche de Pescado for $3.50. Delicious and huge!

Don ordered and loved the Shredded beef burrito with spanish rice and black beans and a red enchilada sauce. It was delicious. He ended up eating only half and then had it for dinner again. Even great reheated. All for $7.50.

I ordered the Molotes de Pollo. Two corn empanadas, stuffed with shredded chicken, mixed jack & cheddar cheese, deep fried topped with lettuce, tomato, queso fresco and aioli chipotle sauce. $7.50. It was amazing. Again, I had it for lunch and then dinner. I loved it. The flavors are great, the service terrific and the price so reasonable. Check it out…. You will love it!
