We had an amazing lunch at Pasta Primo Italian Bistro 16255 N Scottsdale Rd C-1, Scottsdale -(480) 922-8630.  Craig, the new owner, is doing a fantastic job.  The place is comfortable, great service and then top that off with great food at a reasonable price and I am in heaven.  That is exactly what happened at our lunch.  See for yourself.

We started with the butternut raviolis. Spectacular with an amaretto cookie crumbled on top. Almost like dessert.

Chef Dad and his wife Tammy were with us. Chef Dad is very fussy about his eggplant parmigiana and this one was a winner.

Tammy had a tortellin soup with big chunks of steak in it and then this gorgeous chicken salad. The chicken was cooked to perfection.

Don had the chicken Cacciatori, it was all white meat and fantastic.

Of course, we had to try the pizza. Thin crust and great flavor. it was wonderful.

I tried the appetizer clams. It was addictive. I put some of the pesto that comes with bread at the beginning of the meal, then dunked that into the broth. It was scrumptuous. I couldn't stop!

And last, but not least, a fantastic tiramisu. They are doing it right at Pasta Primo. You have to check it out.
