We went to the Grand Opening of Jimmy Woo’s 4233 N. Scottsdale Road in Scottsdale,480.454.6697. Jimmy Woo’s is the fourth restaurant concept from OTG Restaurants. OTG restaurants include Stingray, Geisha-A Go Go and Drift Tiki Lounge.  The atmosphere is trendy with young servers.  Our server Summer was very sweet and brought us the Chef’s tasting menu for the evening.  We started with one of their specialty drinks, they have a large variety of choices.  We started with wonton soup.   We then tried the pork dumplings.  They were steamed with a tasty dipping sauce. Next was Jimmy Woo’s Special chicken in a spicey /sweet  sauce with Kung Pao Shrimp.   They offer a choice of white or brown rice.  The brown rice was perfectly cooked.To finish the evening the Chef offered a berry wonton with a raspberry coulis.  The evening was delightful. We understand the Chef was previously with PF Changs.  The  menu is large with some unique items like lobster egg rolls.  They have luncheon specials, something for everyone.
