It was a great evening at our Tuesday Tasting at China King at 1050 West Ray Road Chandler, AZ 85224-3551 (480) 899-8099.  We had close to 40 listeners come and try the authentic food.  We caught some of the action.  Check it out, you will love this place.

The menu was extensive, so it was tough making a decision. Our table likes to try new items, so we tried the Jelly Fish head for a appetizer. It doesn't have much flavor, but the texture is exactly what you would expect. I like the sauce they used, we all enjoyed it. It was Carol, LaDonna, Cindy & Charlie that love to try new things. Thanks for inspiring us to order out of the box. I love it!

We met some new friends. This is Carol from Chandler, she is the one that has a cat named Emily who loves Don's voice and comes running to the radio to listen to Culinary Confessions. Next to her is her daughter Connie and her husband Arly. We really enjoyed our visit with them.

Al, brought a sample of all kinds of spices for our listeners. He is always so thoughtful and generous. Here is Al on the left and Jennifer from Tempe on the right.

The menu, as I mentioned is authentic. This is Sea Cucumber with shrimp & vegetables, an interesting texture.

Sandy tried the curry and the orange chicken and lemon cod was amazing. Everyone was thrilled.

They even have a live seafood menu, here are the tanks in the kitchen. Dim Sum is a specialty served daily. You have got to try this place. Thank you Bing and the great staff at China King, you are the BEST!
