gave me this recipe, I can’t wait to try it, so decadent and yet no cheese.

NO CHEESE CHEESY POTATOES

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 whole russet potatoes peeled and par boiled
  • 3 leeks (white part only) sliced thin and washed
  • 6 scallions sliced
  • heavy cream
  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions:

  • Slice the potatoes 1/2 inch thick & place in a large bowl
  • Add leeks,scallions, salt & pepper
  • Mix together lightly
  • place in a casserole dish and cover with heavy cream
  • Bake 350 degrees 30-40 minutes or until lightly borwned
