Manny & MaryAnne in Gilbert gave me this recipe, I can’t wait to try it, so decadent and yet no cheese.
Ingredients:
- 4-5 whole russet potatoes peeled and par boiled
- 3 leeks (white part only) sliced thin and washed
- 6 scallions sliced
- heavy cream
- salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
- Slice the potatoes 1/2 inch thick & place in a large bowl
- Add leeks,scallions, salt & pepper
- Mix together lightly
- place in a casserole dish and cover with heavy cream
- Bake 350 degrees 30-40 minutes or until lightly borwned
