German Kohlrabi from Karin from Scottsdale

  • 4 Kohlrabi
  • 1 onion, whipping
  • crème fraiche or something similar
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg -the most important ingredient

Peel and cut Kohlrabi into sticks (size of french fries), cube onion and sautee onion in O.O. then add Kohlrabi, add Vegetable broth and let it cook on a small flame until liquid is almost gone. Add 1/3 of a cup of whipping crème, or crème fraiche and bring it back to a quick boil – season with Salt, Pepper and Nutmeg: DONE
