This has been circulating e-mails. Thanks to Michelle from Tempe for sending it in to Culinary Confessions
It is called “The Most dangerous cake in the world” because you are only 5 minutes away from it. ( Actually it takes a bit more time to be honest.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour (not self-rising)
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp chocolate chips, optional
- small splash of vanilla extract
- 1 large coffee mug
Preparation
- Add dry ingredients to mug and blend well.
- Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
- Add milk and oil and blend well.
- Add the vanilla extract and blend again.
- Add chocolate chips and mix in.
- Put mug in the center of your microwave.
- Microwave on high for 3 minutes (1000 watt oven).
- Cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed.
- Allow to cool a little and tip out onto a plate, if desired.
- Eat!
