from Cooking with Three Ingredients by Andrew Schloss
You can change up the oil flavors and the spices. Have fun with it!
- 2 cups ( 15 ounce Can) cooked chick peas (garbanzo beans), drained, rinsed
- 2 tablespoons Asian sesame oil ( I like the toasted sesame oil)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
1. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add the chickpeas and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the chickpeas are dry and lightly toasted. Reduce the heat to medium.
2. Add the sesame oil, chili powder and a few good shakes of salt. Cook and stir until the chickpeas are coated with oil and spices , about 1 minute.
