Jeannie's Missouri Banana Salad - delicious and light
Ingredients
  • 1 small head iceberg lettuce
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 large ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup walnut halves or pieces

Preparation
  1. Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Toss lettuce in bowl with mayonnaise until coated.
  3. Arrange lettuce on serving plates.
  4. Top with banana slices.
  5. Sprinkle with walnuts.
  6. Serve right away.

Notes
Makes 4 side salads or 2 luncheon salads.
