Ingredients
|
- 3 or 4 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 cup Catalina salad dressing
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup apple butter
- 1 cup Coca-Cola

Preparation
|
- Place everything except ribs into mixing bowl.
- Combine ingredients thoroughly.
- Place ribs in baking dish on meat rack (if available).
- Spread 1/2 of sauce evenly over ribs and cover with plastic wrap leaving one corner open to vent. (Note: If using flat-bottomed dish, elevate dish on inverted saucer.)
- Microwave on high for 5 minutes (6 minutes for low-wattage microwaves).
- Reduce power to medium and microwave for 25 minutes (30 minutes for low-wattage microwaves).
- Turn ribs over and drain excess fat.
- Spread remaining sauce on ribs.
- Cover and return to microwave.
- Microwave at medium setting for 25-30 minutes or until meat is fork-tender. (30-35 minutes for low-wattage microwaves)
- Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes to finish tenderizing before serving.

Notes
|
Be sure to arrange ribs with meatier ends toward the outside of dish and thinner portions toward the center.
This sauce works great on anything you want to barbecue!
