Tropical sundae courtesy of Culinary Confessions
Ingredients
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup mango chunks
  • 1 cup banana slices
  • 1-1/2 pints vanilla ice cream
  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts or almonds

Preparation
  1. In 4 dessert glasses, layer pineapple chunks, mango chunks, and banana slices.
  2. Scoop ice cream into each glass.
  3. In blender, combine kiwifruit and lemon juice until smooth.
  4. Pour sauce over ice cream.
  5. Sprinkle each serving with nuts.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes
To change this recipe anytime, use whatever fruits are in season--like strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, or peaches. For a special treat, sprinkle with toasted coconut.
