Ingredients
  • 1 cup plus 1 tbsp flour, divided
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar plus 2 tbsp sugar, divided
  • 1/2 cup butter, slightly softened
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 5 cups blueberries, divided
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In mixing bowl, combine 1 cup flour, salt, and 2 tbsp of sugar.
  3. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs form.
  4. Sprinkle with vinegar.
  5. Shape into dough with lightly floured fingers.
  6. Press into loose-bottom 9" layer cake pan forming a bottom of 1/4-inch and pressing up about 1-inch on the sides.
  7. Add 3 cups blueberries.
  8. Mix remaining flour with remaining sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Sprinkle over blueberries.
  10. Bake on lowest oven rack for 50-60 minutes or until crust is well-browned and filling is bubbly.
  11. Remove to cooling rack.
  12. Sprinkle with remaining 2 cups of blueberries.
  13. Cool completely.
  14. Remove rim from pan.
