Ingredients
  • 4-6 sheets of matzoh
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line cookie sheet with foil.
  3. Top foil with waxed paper.
  4. Lay matzohs on baking sheets, breaking in half to fill gaps, until sheet is completely covered.
  5. In medium saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  6. Let mixture come to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  7. Remove butter mixture from heat and pour over matzoh.
  8. Bake 15 minutes being careful not to let it burn.
  9. Remove from oven and quickly sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Let the chips melt for a few minutes, then use back of spoon to spread into an even layer.
  10. Sprinkle nuts over top of chocolate and press down lightly.
  11. Refrigerate until set.
  12. Break into small pieces to serve.
