Ingredients
  • 6-1/2 cups sugar
  • 3-1/2 cups mashed strawberries
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 box SureJell

Preparation
  1. In saucepan, combine SureJell and water.
  2. Bring to a boil and boil hard for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add berries, lemon juice, and sugar.
  5. Stir well and continue stirring for 5 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved.
  6. Put into prepared jars.
  7. Cool in refrigerator for 3 hours.
  8. Freeze after cooling.

Use gasket-seal clip-style or o-ring screw-top-style canning jars for this recipe.

Be sure to follow manufacturer's instructions for preparing and sealing jars.
