Ingredients
|
- 1 loaf French bread
- 12 oz butter
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 6-7 garlic cloves
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp oregano

Preparation

- Preheat broiler
- In small mixing bowl, combine butter and olive oil. Mix until consistency of whipped cream.
- Finely mince garlic and add them to butter mixture. Blend well.
- Add oregano to butter mixture, and blend well.
- Place butter in refrigerator.
- Cut French bread into 3/4-inch thick ovals.
- Place bread on baking sheet and spread each slice with butter mixture on top side.
- Top each slice with cheese.
- Place under broiler until cheese is melted and edges of bread begin to brown.
