Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 pound pecan halves, shelled
  • 3 tsp kosher salt

Preparation
  1. Place 2 foot sheet of aluminum foil on countertop.
  2. In large saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat.
  3. Add sugar, water, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Stir constantly until melted and well-combined.
  5. Add pecans.
  6. Stir constantly for 10 minutes.
  7. Pour mixture onto foil, spreading it out quickly.
  8. Sprinkle with salt.
  9. Let cool for 30 minutes.
  10. Enjoy!

Notes
Store in airtight container.
