Don and I had the pleasure of touring the menu at the hip, new and delectable Lime Light Dipping Bar & Grill. 4218 N. Scottsdale Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85251 – 480)949-8900. Chef Lefty is the Host with the most.  The food was amazing, Don and I were not surprised with the flavors of the dipping sauces and the care taken in all of the recipes to offer creative dishes that everyone will love. You can customize each dish with a choice of 15 sauces. If you are not comfortable with that Chef Lefty offers his suggestions.  If you like heat, try Chef Lefty’s Ghost Pepper or for a cooler flavor wasabi yogurt  or go a different way with sweet & sour, pineapple coconut or Bacon aioli just to name a few.  PROBLEM: The menu is almost difficult to negotiate because there are so many great choices. SOLUTIONS:  Go often and work your way through the tempting menu, you can afford it, the most expensive thing is the pizza’s at $16.00.  Check this out:

An beautiful plate of Limelight Ahi Tuna - $10.00 an amazing Blackened Ahi Tuna with avocado, tomatoes, onions and drizzled with a balsamic reduction.

I am not a potato skins person, but these captured my imagination and my love. Dorito Skins $7.00 Fresh cut potato skins, stuffed with "Queso Fresco" bacon and "Nacho Cheese" Dorito crumbles...OMG!!!

Lamb Chop Fondue $13.00 with a rosemary & goat cheese cream sauce

Voodoo Sticks $10.00 Spicy beef sirloin sticks with a cayenne pepper touch with dipping sauce. It is so tender.

Coconut Lime shrimp Dipping Stick....try it with the sweet and sour or peanut sauce, just to name a few. See it's fun!!

If it is chicken you like try the Indonesian Chicken Satay $10.00 try it with the sweet chili ginger sauce.

If it is pizza you crave, we tried the GASP it was amazing with a marinara dipping sauce. GASP is short for Garlic, Arichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, and pesto sauce. $16.00. It was so flavorful. I loved it.

If it is a sandwich you crave, the Tuna Melt $11.00 is not your traditional. It starts with blackened Ahi Tuna, melted bacio cheese topped with homemade cole-slaw and chipotle mayo. I think this version gives the old idea a run for it's money.

I am a burger lover and Lefty makes the best burgers in town. This model is unique. It is a hand made burger patty with charbroiled butternut squash, & red roasted peppers, served with tomato basil sauce. It was amazing. The burgers are the juiciest burgers in town and huge.

Last but not lease, save room for Lefty's cheesecakes. Always different flavors, like this red velvet one. A decadent way to end the meal or take it home for a late night snack. So worth the calories.

We got to hang out with Chef Lefty and then were thrilled to see his brother Taki.  They are a great team.  Check them out on our show tomorrow from 12 -1 PM .  Thanks for opening such a fun new place to have lunch, dinner or late evening eating experience.
