Would you wait 1 1/2 hours for a great burger? I sure would!  That is what people do in NYC  do for an old fashioned juicy burger at the Shake Shack. I have heard about it for years and it has been a restaurant on my “wish I could go there”  list.  I love sychronicity in life.  I am going to NY this weekend and I was trying to figure out how I can waist such a short vacation standing in line at the Shake Shake and which family relative would be willing to do it with me, after all that is why I am going, to visit with family.   I realizes this would not be my time to go.  Then…… I was watching America’s Test Kitchen on PBS,  I love the show and there is Chris Kimball, the host, in NYC interviewing people who are waiting in line.  Then I struck GOLD, Chris with Kenji Alt from the Shake Shake showing us how to do it.  All secrets revealed.   It is a bit of a big deal to do, grind your meat, and I don’t mean chuck so get in a comfy seat and watch this segment.  They also have a great segment on the easiest crispy french fries any one can make.  I better run.. I’m going to get my boneless short rib and flat meat.  See Ya!  Let us know if you would wait or would you take the time to grind your own meat?
