Dave from Gilbert e-mailed us and called us about his visit to Jerry Tucci's Italian Grill & Brick Oven. He had the opportunity to go with his wife, and they really enjoyed it. They split a meatball calzone and a brick oven pizza and gave the food and service high marks. They enjoyed speaking with Chef Clint, and Eric, their server, gave them a loaf of crusty bread to take home. Dave was looking forward to making garlic bread with it. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Kim also went to Jerry Tucci's to pick up some of the homemade mozzarella that she made with Chef Clint. It was creamy and delicious. Al Wheeless, the owner, was on his way to cater an event for 500 people, and shared two salads with Kim--the seafood salad, which was delicious, and a salad that Al invented. It was a dessert salad, made with spiral pasta, cranberries, walnuts, mandarin orange slices, (possibly some grated cheese), and a sweet vinaigrette sauce. It sounded weird, but Don and Kim fought over the last bite. It was delicious. Maybe we can get the recipe.
