Thanks to everyone who called in with answers to our survey question. Here's what everyone had to say:
- Best Pizza:
- Sherry in Avondale - she's from Chicago and loves Salerno's pizza here in the Valley
- Kay in Phoenix - Red Devil's pizza
- Nancy in Scottsdale - gave up on finding good pizza
- Alberta in Paradise Valley - loves the pizza at Grimaldi's and doesn't mind their lobster bisque either
- Susan in Scottsdale - recommends the gluten-free creations pizza crust at Gluten-Free Creations, and she loves the sausage, mushroom, and onion pizza at Pizza Picasso
- MaryAnne in Scottsdale - has NYPD Pizza every Friday night ... it's her favorite thing!
- Rod in Scottsdale - prefers to make his own pizza using Trader Joe's herb crust brushed with garlic and olive oil, Lucerne four-cheese blend, smoked salmon, and red pizza sauce with black olives
- Del in Tempe - loves the tiramisu and pizza at Classic Italian Pizza in Tempe
- Vince in Mesa - loves the pizza at Salerno's
- Josey Ann in Mesa - loves the thin crust with pepperoni, Italian sausage and olives, complimented by the exceptional antipasta salad with creamy dressing at Salerno's
Marie in Mesa called about Benedetto's. They went for dinner and it was divine! Brenda, their server, was great. They each had their own salad, then split the seafood-pasta special. The homemade linguine was outstanding.
We'd also like to congratulate everyone who won a prize in our daily contests, and thank everyone who phoned in and gave it a try. Here's what they won:
