We spend many of our days driving around the island seeing the various topography. The roads were often single lane and high above the surf, not for the timid traveler.
This was taken from the inside of the car in the drivers seat. Yes I was fully stopped! Windy narrow single lane roads were abundant along the coast.
The second day we took a ferry over to connect with an old friend that moved from Arizona to Molokai and bought a papaya and Mango farm. We left at 7:00 AM and even saw a whale.

We had a most amazing time in Maui. What a beautiful island with delicious food. We got a package deal on Orbitz including a car. We drove all around the island. There are so many things to see and nail biting single lane drives thousands of feet drop into the ocean. A thrill, but not for the faint of heart. We stayed at the Ritz Carton in Kapalua. The north west end of the Island. It was beautiful. The food was amazing here are some of our favorite dishes and some scenery along the way!
