We had a great lunch at Conti’s Bar & Grill in Mesa 155 S Power Rd Mesa, AZ yesterday. We started with the freshly made to order bacon poppers. The poppers were delicious, hot, crispy, gooey and very flavorful with an asian chili sauce that was sweet, different, but delicious. We had a delicious breakfast at Mickey D's Cafe in Apache Junction at 1408 West Apache Trail. We loved meeting Mickey and her husband Dwayne. They are the nicest couple making everyone feel welcome. They put a big smile on your face.

We had a great lunch and are so proud to have as a new sponsor, The Grill on Main 124 West Main Street Mesa, AZ (480) 464-3555. Art Froelich, Chef/Owner has gone from Engineer to Chef, even studied locally at Le Cordon Bleu with Chef Jon Paul Hutchins, so you know he knows his food. We started off with a New England Clam Chowder that was perfect.
The soup of the Day, clam chowder with more clams than potatoes. It was delcious and I love the bowl with the cracker well. So cool and delicious.
