The soup of the Day, clam chowder with more clams than potatoes. It was delcious and I love the bowl with the cracker well. So cool and delicious.

It is always fun when we get together for remotes and De la Cruz Bistro 10 West Main Street Mesa, AZ 85201 (480) 258-6942. This was our first remote at this restaurant and everyone was thrilled with Chef Brian’s menu. People raved about the steak sandwich, sweet potato fries many had fish for lent and were pleased. The salads were also a hit. We all had a great time. Don and I tried an amazing Bacon Bloody Mary and some terrific wines. Vince from Mesa tried Fat Willy’s Family Sports Grill with 3 locations in Mesa. They really enjoyed it. Vince tried the Club House Hamburger, it was on Texas Toast. It was a challenge to wrap your mouth around. It was $9.00 with good fries.

Don and I went to Thai Chili 3641 E. Baseline Gilbert, AZ 85234 (480) 219-8330. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We meet Amyrish and his warm and hospitable wife, this is a family affair. Amyrish was in the kitchen cooking up a storm. A peek at our feast.
