We had many delicious ideas to make a great smoothie:

Linda in Phoenix:
Use Ice, orange juice as a base, 1 cup frozen fruit (she likes the bag of mixed fruit at Costco), 1/2 cup yogurt,1/2 banana and Madagascar Vanilla.   If she is feeling like it she adds a splash of lime juice or maybe even a bit of ginger ale or sparkling water.

Janet in Scottsdale loves to freeze grapes and she snacks on them frozen.  Kim add them to drinks to keep them cold and nibble on them when the drink is done.   Janet makes a smoothie using protein powder, Greek yogurt and non fat milk with frozen berries, peaches, splenda  and those wonderful baby bananas.
