COMMENTS: I wanted to give a restaurant review while it was still fresh in my mind. I just had breakfast in a new place named “Perk eatery” 6501 East Greenway Pkwy. #159
Scottsdale, AZ (480) 998-6026 at the east end of the shopping center at 64th street and Greenway.Parkway. It was the best I’ve had in a while for breakfast. I had a mediterranean omlet with a light dill sauce and rosemary roasted potatoes. It was light, fresh and so very good. My son was with me and he had the breakfast burito that he also loved. The service was quick, friendly and all and all one of the best breakfast places I’ve found.
Thanks Kathryn

The Answer ,as you smart listeners figured out, by just clicking on the picture. my bad, is raw almonds. These are an annual delicacy in Persia. They soak them in water for 10 minutes then eat the whole thing. They are tart and similar to a granny smith apples or crab apple.
Rick from Mesa has been to The Greek Grill 610 North Alma School Road Chandler, AZ 85224(480) 855-7692 and loves the Gyro sandwiches. It is under new management and the food is great. They have a great lunch specials.
We felt very fortunate to have Mary Ann Esposito from Ciao Italia on the show. She has the longest running cooking series on television and now has a new website so you can learn how to cook Italian with all of the past shows. Great recipes, blog and good info. Check it out.
Steve in Tempe found Pita di Vita 263 E. Warner Rd. Gilbert, AZ 85296 (480) 545-8482.which is owned by one of the people who created the menu from Pita Jungle. He loves the food here, everything is delicious. Greek salad with gyro meat. A Philly Gyro which is fabulous, he puts his own twist to things. Veggie dishes, lentil plates, very healthy. Eating for good life.
